About

I'm a keen walker and cyclist in my 60's who realised that I had Restless Legs Syndrome in my mid 50s after my wife mentioned my increasingly disruptive night time twitching. Until then I'd thought that my tendency to wake up was driven by work stress (which didn't help!)

I'm lucky that I'm retired and I can manage without medication apart from iron supplements but the regular night awakening does take a toll on my sleep and energy. I'm currently investigating whether iron infusions would help.
